Benelli’s Performance Shop faced a formidable challenge when we asked it to customize our already legendary SBE 3 semi-automatic shotgun for serious waterfowlers. They began by crafting an oversized bolt handle and enlarged bolt release to accommodate hunters wearing gloves. A HIVIZ^® CompSight^® was added for a better sight picture in low light. The forcing cone was lengthened and polished, and three Rob Roberts Triple Threat^® choke tubes were provided to ensure superior patterns. In fact, SBE3 Waterfowl Edition models are test-fired with a computerized pattern analysis machine to verify consistent and even patterns.
