The new SL3 platform is a sophisticated and trustworthy boxlock system designed to deliver the finest performance in the field and survive heavy use.
With a design exclusive to Beretta, the SL3 shotgun action provides the ideal action/barrel locking system, enhancing the platform’s toughness and stiffness. Hinged pins, lower hooks, and locking pins are used to secure the barrels at three different locations.
No matter how much use it receives, the gun’s opening and closing motions will continue to be seamless and fluid throughout time (during validation the SL3 has shot more than 11,500 magnum cartridges with no issues).
